Is Dedi Suryadi, a 45-year-old man from Cimahi City, West Java, who travels from village to village every day, from village to village, under the hot sun or pouring rain. The man who makes a living as a shoe and sandal sole maker, never tires of offering his services from home. It doesn't feel like he's been doing a routine from morning to night like that for ten years. "Yes, how else. Everything must be lived sincerely. For the sake of supporting the family, sis," said Titin Nuryanti's husband, who has been blessed with 4 children, to Elitkita.com (10/3/2023).

Long before pursuing his current profession, Dedi admitted that he had worked in several places. In a day usually between 3 to 4 shoes are serviced, with a service fee ranging from IDR 10 to IDR 50 thousand. It depends on the damage," explained Dedi. But if you have a fortune, added Dedi, sometimes there are good customers and give them used shoes or sandals, or they are slightly damaged but still serviceable. After repairing or servicing the shoes or sandals they receive, they can be sold again to people in need. "Yes, Alhamdulillah, calculating the additional income," joked Dedi.

Slightly different from other shoe sole makers, Dedi turns out to be a martial arts trainer. He is a member of the “Sinar Pusaka Putra Heulang Manunggal” community. He also has skills in using the rampak drum and the pencak horn. He has been practicing this skill since he was young until now.
