WALKING FOR 4 DAYS, KOROPTAK COMMUNITY EVACUATED YONIF R 514 KOSTRAD PATROL TEAM IN THE MIDDLE OF NDUGA FOREST

Elitkita.com Papua News — Starting with Patrol activities led by Captain Inf Mahardika Danpos Kendibam in the Kalimin area, Papua on Sunday (27/3)


During the patrol activities of the Yonif R 514 Kostrad Task Force, they found several people looking confused in the middle of the forest. After being asked, it was true that they were not native residents of the Kenyam District but came from the Kroptak District. A total of 52 people, who had traveled for 4 days to the Kenyam District due to fear of terror from the haunting KKB. Provision of refugees, pigs were also included in this trip.




Immediately the joint TNI-POLRI from Kenyam with the leadership of the Dansatgas Yonif R 514 Kostrad and the Head of the Nduga Papua Police, came to pick up the community using several vehicles and immediately transported them to Kenyam using vehicles. Then the community headed to the Nduga Police Station, to get health services by the joint TNI-POLRI health team and free food.


In his written release, Dansatgas Yonif R 514/SY, Lt. Col. Rinto Wijaya said that most of the people's condition was in good health after being carried out a medical examination by the TNI-POLRI health team. 


"We will continue to provide the people of the Kroptak District with logistical and moral assistance to relieve the deep trauma caused by the KKB terror. Whatever the community wants, we are ready to help," said Dansatgas.
